Siella kavi naisia makselemassa leipavelkojaan ja me yritimme kayttaa koko laajaa wolofin sanavarastoamme pitaaksemme jutustelua ylla.
Minttu vastasi: Yes... inchallah!
Kuvassa Musa leipomonsa edessa.
Tomorrow, if it´s God´s will.
The weather has started to get cooler, you can almost (!) sleep under a thin sheet at night :)
This morning I went to Fidel´s with Minttu to buy bread. We managed to buy some sweet bun by accident instead of bread... We sat down in front of the bakery to have some of it for breakfast, and just when we were leaving, Musa came and asked us to come to his office. Some women came and left, apparently they were paying some debts. We tried to keep up the small talk with all possible Wolof we knew, Musa doesn´t speak any English. He was so kind when he gave us two more buns (asked the boy what we had bought) :) and said that he is really going to miss us when we leave after three weeks. He´s very kind and always remembers our names.
The less there is time left the more I´ve started thinking of how awful it will be to leave, when you don´t know if we´re ever going to meet again. Maybe someday, inchallah.
The other day we bought some pesto and somebody asked Minttu if it is good. She answered: Yes... inchallah!
In the picture you can see Musa in front of his bakery, nice!
